The Orion TCU can sense the transmission oil temperature and make line pressure adjustments accordingly. This will ensure the shifting is smooth even if the transmission is still cold. The sensor is situated inside the transmission and the pins is connected to the main connector. The sensor is mostly a NTC resistor. There are two inputs for different values of the NTC sensor. One is a 2K input and the other a 10K input. Depending on the type of sensor the wiring diagram will indicate the correct one to use.
