Dual Map Switch

The Dual MAP and Flat Shift selection switch is a normal on/off or push button switch that is connected to the ECU. When it is on it will connect the input to earth, this indicates to the ECU which map is required at startup and if flat shift is activated during driving. Note: If you want to switch between maps on the fly then the flat shift feature could not be used.

Wiring

The input for the Dual MAP selection switch is situated on the 6 Pin Molex Comms connecter pin 1. You can make an adapter for this dual MAP switch if you have the tuning software connected. Spitronics also supply these cables pre-made.

Selection Switch

Dashboard on/off will select which map will be used. If not connected it will default to Map 1 at startup. If the switch is on it will be Map 2.

Tuning adapter
The tuning adapter cable will let you use a switch while tuning. If you do not have this cable start the ECU on Map 2 and then connect the Comms cable.
