GP Priority Layout

The Mercury2 is a universal controller that can have many variations of wiring. Due to new features that is added to the same hardware it is inevitable to move inputs and outputs to suit certain applications. This means that newer versions in firmware is connected differently. We try and keep wiring as standard as possible for same group of engines like 4 or 6 cylinders etc. There are engines that has to be different in the same group. It may be to keep backwards compatibility or to optimise the hardware. Make sure your application uses the correct firmware and I/O locations.

NB! Make sure to verify the new wiring against your old wiring when you upgrade your system.

This manual is a modular drawing manual where you have to decide on wiring and print different section of drawings. The GP Priority sheet will explain where each Input or output is, and for convenience the wire colour is next to it for the different harnesses available. Make sure on your harness part number at the connector end. For wiring at the other end you need to print your own combination from the different drawings in the manual.
