The Tachometer can be connected on the ECU and be calibrated in software. There are a few different ways to connect it as there are many different tachometers. Types are Digital Magnetic and Coil connections. Make sure you chose the correct option as it may damage the tachometer. Note that coil connected tachometers require a special adapted and it is sold separately.
